Our Sunday School Teaching Team is made up of over 30 caring and enthusiastic volunteer teachers who share a passion for sharing God’s Good News with children of all ages. We offer Sunday School classes for Nursery through Senior Highs at 10:00a.m. Adult Sunday School classes meet at 8:45a.m.

Our Sunday morning “routine” (although we hope that no Sunday is merely “routine!”) at 10:00 a.m. is as follows:

Upon arrival, children ages two through 5th grade, begin their worship experience in the sanctuary with their parents. Children remain with parents for a short time until Jim invites all the children up front for “Worship Time for Children.” Following this segment, all children are dismissed to their individual Sunday School classes. Parents are asked to accompany young children to their classrooms as appropriate. Mid High and Senior High students may report directly to their classrooms upon arriving at church.

If you are planning to visit us for the first time, please arrive about 15 minutes early and let one of our ushers know you are visiting for the first time. One of our Christian Education volunteers will be happy to meet you and show your children the location of their Sunday School classrooms.

Our Sunday School utilizes Cokesbury United Methodist curriculum materials in Toddlers and Twos through Fifth Grade. Each carefully planned lesson consists of; a focus scripture, an interactive Bible lesson, sharing time, craft or activity time, music, and prayer. Mid High and Senior High students learn and study through Youth Bible Study materials, discussion, and service. Parents are always welcome to visit any of our Sunday School classes to experience, first hand, discipleship at its finest!
