The Sunday School children received ark banks and calendars on April 23rd and we hope you've been filling them and talking to your children about the ways in which those donations will help families in less fortunate situations around the world. We'll be collecting the banks on Sunday, May 21st - let's make this a record year!!

As you are probably aware, we have been fortunate in past years to be able to offer Sunday School classes throughout the summer vacation period, while giving our teachers a well-deserved break. This year we will be doing the same with the help of YOU - parents and other interested adults who can help out by volunteering to teach one or more classes during the summer. Lesson packets will be provided in advance for each class and sign-up schedules will be posted in the Outer Narthex in mid-May.

Do you have a beach vacation planned this year? Want to get away to golden sands, blue seas and sunny skies? Well, come and join us at Son Treasure Island for four nights of Caribbean breezes and calypso music, and learn about God's love for us. Vacation Bible School will take us there on July 10th to 13th from 6-8:30pm. This year, for the first time, we will have a special program for 6th - 12th Graders. They will help prepare a skit each evening to reinforce the message for the day. In addition, Jim Ditto will be holding an adult class on a topic to be announced.
